If you look for a sunny destination outside the sunny period in north europe, the canary islands are a good compromise. There is all kind of landscape, kind of islands and activities to do.
I stayed 10 days and wanted to see more than one islands and different landscape from one to another. After some research, i targeted some places which looked incredible like the volcano Teide, La Graciosa or Fuerteventura beaches and dunes. So in 10 days, we did Tenerife for hikes, Fuerteventura for beaches and Lanzarote for the islands, volcano and vineyards.
Tenerife – 3 days
Tenerife was the first island of our trip and we stayed there 3 days. Our main target was to hike at the top of the Teide to see the sunrise. We also had time to visit some nice little villages around.
Fuerteventura – 2 days
We fly next to Fuerteventura where we spent the weekend. It is an amazing island, it is desert but full of contrast.
Lanzarote – 4 days– Canaries
We finish the trip with Lanzarote island where we spent a bit more time. This island is as amazing and different as the other ones.
To visit 3 islands in 10 days is a bit sportiv and maybe too much. Of course we could have seen much more on each of them but it also totally worth it to have such a panel of different and amazing landscape.
